The Incredible Kaleidophone is a vehicle for Kaleidoscope Jones, aka S.D. Jowett, a graduate student and researcher in the Dept. of History at Queen’s University in Kingston, Ontario, Canada. The site was first launched as an online compliment to her weekly radio show, which broadcast 30 episodes between August 2009 and May 2010 on CFRC 101.9 FM (Queen’s Campus and Kingston Community Radio).
Since May 2010 the blog has taken on a different colour, presenting reviews, editorials, and essays inspired by the author’s passion for music, history, and sound studies.
